What`s So Great About IMVU? - Your IMVU

Once you have signed up for a free account and created your character, you can start taking advantage of everything this software has to offer. From the main page of the site, you’ll have access to the My IMVU section. Here, you’ll find several options that help you customize your chat experience and explore more of what this world has to offer.

1. Buddies. The first option you’ll find under the My IMVU menu, the Buddies feature allows you to find and invite friends. You’ll know when any of your friends are online when you log into the server, so you can see if you’ve got any chatting partners available.

   
   

2. Groups. There are tens of thousands of groups on IMVU, spanning more than twenty-six different categories. That’s a lot of options for conversation! By joining a group, you can find like-minded chatters to communicate with. Some of the groups are themed, allowing you to mix a bit of play into your chat.

   
   

3. IMVU catalog. Through the clothing catalog, you can browse hundreds of virtual fashions, so you can make your avatar look exactly as you wish and change your style any time you like.

   
   

4. Public rooms. You’ll also find a link to the public rooms list under your My IMVU menu. From this list, you can see the thousands of free public rooms which are available to chatters.
