CD cards bring attention
Unlike print material, CD Business cards engage prospective customers with multimedia. They deliver dynamic sales presentations with narration, music, graphics, text, photographs or video. They can mirror a website, present a catalogue and create a permanent reference library to support your customer base and sales efforts. CD business cards often have more permanence.
To fall into the notion that there’s something about miniaturization that intrigues people or use a CD business card to create the appearance of leading edge company misses the point of the technology. While novelty has a place, the CD business card must be developed to offer the user true value and a sales team true support. Useful CD business card design
With Useful design, the impact of a CD card can be immediate, as people can take immediate action. A prospective client can go right to your e-commerce site and make a purchase, salespeople can have dynamic presentations for an audience, and software can be transferred to users or reference information searched. While these special CD's may be relatively expensive in small quantities, in large numbers you can find them for reasonable prices. Typically these CD's need to be purchased in quantities such as 1000 in order to have a reasonable price-per-unit, if less than a thousand units it should be considered whether there are other marketing methods which may be more cost effective. If you can made CD Business cards financially feasible, they can help you stand out from your competition.
Before making a final decision, inquire as to whether or not special software needs to be present on the recipient's computer. Ideally, you would want some assurance from your vendor that any computer manufactured within the last five years could properly view the presentation right out of the box, and without requiring the user to install any special "plug-ins" or software programs.
CD business cards and flexibility
Any material that might be subject to frequent change should probably be avoided so that you're not faced with the situation of holding hundreds of CD cards that are "out of date" for some reason, and therefore useless in your personal marketing efforts. Our position is that the cards should be ordered with precision for pre-proposed, opt-in situations.
A website, mailing address and email should be prominently written on the CD
Ease of contact is a wonderful feature of this technology. For this to be complete, situations where someone is interested in calling you should not require loading the CD into the tray to find out. Beyond this we feel that a short abstract about the content adds the potential to spark interested, beyond that of the original recipient. A website is also a handy support tool to deal with updates and maintenance bulletins.
