    Free Online Marketing

When I quit my day job and ventured into cyberspace with my own business, like many, I had the usual struggles of where to start. What was I going to sell, and how was I going to sell it, but most importantly, what was it going to cost me?

If you're low on funds or your marketing budget isn't quite up to speed, the good news is that the Internet is full of free marketing tactics that still work quite well.

I've used each of these tactics for years and they continue to bring me additional traffic today. I recommend using them all. They will help you and your site get noticed and, best of all, they won't cost you a dime.

    Write Articles
One of the best ways to get noticed is to write an article. Submitting articles works wonders for building credibility and trust. If people can find good, quality, useful information from your article, they will be urged to investigate you and your website, often resulting in a sale. Submitting articles can also help with improving your pagerank.

If you're perplexed with what to write about, think of your talents. What do you have experience in? What is your website about?  If you feel you don't have enough knowledge to write about something then research it. Jot down all  the facts and compose it into something that is readable and easy to understand. Give it a bit of your own personality or perhaps write a story, people love stories about personal experiences.

Tip:  Be careful not to copy someone else's work, this will harm your credibility.
