Simplifying Page Design - Simplifying the Process

All the great ideas in the world won’t exactly make you a graphic designer, will they? Start simplifying the entire page design process using one very helpful design tool: templates.

Sites like Master Templates provide you with free, downloadable templates you can easily integrate right into your site. You’ll pick the template you like, download it and then upload it right into your HTML editor. Soon, you’re putting your content right into a well-designed page. Pick a layout that looks like the basic design you visualized, and you’ll find it easy to just pop your page elements right into the editor.

Search for Internet sites (such as Free Website Templates, pictured) that offer the free, visually-pleasing designs you want. There are lots and lots of different Web sites which offer tons of free templates, so look around for the styles that best suit your needs.

You can even download several different templates and try them out on your site to see what works best. Why not shop around to find the best design for your different features, elements and content? You’ll find templates suited to all the different types of Web pages you have to offer, so be sure to take full advantage and really simplify your page design.

    Simplifying Page Design

The best way to create a great design for your pages is to simply play with the look. Use trial and error, move things around and change templates until you feel sure you’ve landed on a truly winning look. After all, you can always change your design again at will. Concentrate on the basics, don’t get caught up in the details and use templates when possible. You’ll find that designing Web pages may not be as difficult as you think…and simplifying page design is the answer.
