    If you think pop-up ads can be annoying, senseless and a waste of time, you might be right on some counts. But in these advertising-friendly days of the Internet, pop-up ads are undergoing a change which might make you look at them as something more than nuisances you quickly click away. Pop-ups might be more viable for your site than you think. How could your pages benefit from Vibrant Media?

    Who is Vibrant Media?

    You’ve probably seen the effects of Vibrant Media ( and never even knew it at the time. The name of this company might not mean much to you right now, but you’re probably aware of their content-based, in-text advertising.

    Vibrant Media places ads within your content, highlighting certain key words and phrases. When a user hovers a mouse over these words (“search” in the example above), a small pop-up window will appear (depicted in the right-hand picture). Once the mouse is moved, the ad closes again.

    Vibrant also offers the same types of ads for shopping sites, so even pages without a ton of rich, text-based content can benefit. You can choose in-line text ads which are also text-based, or pick still images and streaming video to make your advertising much more graphically-based. Some ads even include audio as well as video to give your traffic a more mesmerizing advertising experience.
