No one knows better than you what sort of feelings and reactions youíd like to evoke in your traffic. Itís important to pay attention to the science of colors so you can avoid turning people away from your pages, but donít shy away from themes and color schemes that mean something to you. If you like certain combinations, donít be afraid to include them on your site.
Thereís a lot of science in site design, but remember itís people who browse pages on the Web. Above all, youíre striving to please your traffic, so donít be afraid to choose the colors and patterns that appeal to you personally. After all, it is your site.
If the color arrangement you have on your site already seems to be working, donít drastically change it no matter what the scientists say. The last thing you want to do with your color is reduce traffic, so play around with your design and find out what works the best for each page.
