Build a Completely Free Site - Fun For Free

You’ve got a free site, and you’ve even got some stuff on that free site with which to entice traffic. Now that you’ve roped them in, what if you want to offer more? There are plenty of pages out there which are willing to give you the little extras which can make a big difference to your traffic.

Free World Group (http://www.freeworldgroup.com/koalafiles.htm, pictured) is only one of many online sites offering free games for Webmasters to place within their own pages. Play the game first yourself if you like, copy the code and you’re well on your way to creating a site that’s fun as well as free.

    The Discussion Factor

You’ve got the space. You’ve got the content. You’ve even got a few games to keep your traffic happy and active. Maybe you should still give them a little more. Being online these days means being very interactive with Web sites -- all pages seems to offer it, and traffic seems to enjoy it. Want to get your users involved in the discussion? It’s a simple matter to add extras like forums and message boards to your pages. This is a great way to get them talking, and get them coming back to your site to read more.

Look for pages offering free forum software packages or hosting services that make it easy for you to put forums on your pages. You may also want to check with the company hosting your free site, as many of them also offer extras like forums, discussion groups and even chat rooms you can add to your pages free of charge. This will bring an interactive element to your pages, and help your traffic get involved. They’ll feel more invested in the site, increasing the chances that they’ll come back to visit your space on the Web again.
