- Manage a minimum of one Adwords account for at least 90 days

In order to work towards the certification, you need to manage at least one Adwords account for a period of at least 90 days. This actually can be your own account, an account that you established for your own Internet based business enterprise. Through this process, you will be able to see what tools are available to you to assist you in implementing a Google Adwords program of your own or for one or another or your own clients.

- During that 90 day period, build and maintain at least $1,000 U.S. in your account

In this regard, you will need to build and maintain at least $1,000 U.S. (or the equivalent in your local currency) through your account. This permits Google the chance to see that you are serious about being more deeply involved in the overall Google Adwords program itself.
