Get Google`s Attention: How to Submit Your Sitemap - Submitting a Sitemap
(Page 4 of 4 )
You may know how to create a sitemap and even how to see it, but you still don’t know how to submit it with Google. Submitting a sitemap with this popular search engine begins with your Google account. Don’t have one? You’ll have to sign up. Account creation with Google is free and fairly quick, so there’s nothing to hold you back. If you already use Google services like Gmail and AdSense, you can use your existing account.
Once you create and/or sign in to your Google account, you’ll be taken straight to the dashboard (pictured).

A blank box will bid you to “click here to add a site.” To do this, simply offer the main URL of your site, with no extension. Next, you’ll click Sitemap. Under this link, a brand-new link (Add) will appear. Click to be taken to another blank box. Simply fill in the URL of your sitemap and you’re done; your pages have all been submitted to the world’s most popular search engine.
