5 Reasons To Start A Home-Based Business
by Dirk Wagner
Have you ever thought about starting a home-based business? With popularity of the internet many people venture into their own home-based business on a daily basis. Everyone of these people have various reasons for starting their own home-based business. However, there are some universal reasons that I think are worth looking at.
#1 Becoming Your Own Boss!
Many people start a home-based business because they are tired of the daily 9-5 grind that traditional jobs offer. Becoming your own boss can be a very rewarding experience and can give you a sense of accomplishment. No longer do you have to answer to someone else, or follow someone else’s rules. Becoming your own boss allows you the flexibility to run your home-based business as you see fit. One thing you should understand however, is that you will work twice as hard for yourself. You are more likely to work twice as many hours on your own home-based business then you ever would working for someone else.
#2 Freedom
Starting a home-based business allows you the freedom to work when you feel like it. No longer will you have to worry about hitting the snooze button on your clock radio! You will have complete freedom to work as hard or as little as you like. If you feel like taking a day off to spend some quality time with your family, you have the ability to do so without any worries. However, you still need to be cognisant of the time you spend away from your business if you intend on becoming successful. The more successful you become, the more freedom you will have.
#3 Money
Money is a huge motivator for many of us. Home-based business owners are certainly no exception to this rule. When you start making money with your home-based business you will have a sense of accomplishment that is second to none. You have undoubtedly heard the saying that ‘you will not get rich working for someone else’ and for the most part this is true, it is much more rewarding to be able to make your own money via a home-based business then working for someone else.
#4 Pride
There is a certain amount of pride that comes along with running your own home-based business. Just think about how proud you would be when you meet someone and they ask you what you do for a living, and your are able to tell them that you are an entrepreneur of your own home-based business. Pride also works as a motivator, the more successful you become the more pride you will have with running your own home-based business.
#5 Tax Advantages
Tax advantages are a fringe benefit of starting your own home-based business. You may not start a home-based business because of the tax advantages associated with running a home-based business, but they do come in handy when it is time to file your tax return. A good accountant can help you with this aspect of running your own home-based business.

As businesses grow increasingly dependent upon Web applications to provide services to customers, employees and partners, these complex applications become more difficult to secure. Although traditional security solutions protect Internet infrastructure layers, they do not guard against HTTP and HTML attacks. Many organizations that conduct security testing still deploy applications that allow attackers to manipulate their logic and wreak havoc on their business. To mitigate this risk, development and delivery teams must address Web application security throughout the lifecycle, addressing the many layers detailed in this paper. FREE! Go There Now!
