Make Your Online Ads Prominent on the Page - Types of Ads

The type of ads you choose can be just as important as where you place these ads on your pages. You may find that some ads work better with the rest of your site than others; this depends on the elements you already use to create the overall effect of each page. Ads vary in more than just size and shape (so many sizes and shapes, you can almost always find one that fits just the right way), so find out which ones work best for you.

Streaming video: Streaming video ads are exactly what they sound like -- real-time video advertisements that play out before your visitors. Often, these ads come with audio that adds another element to the page.

Text: Text-based ads are among the most common. Featuring the same keywords youíre using on your site, these ads provide a clickable link so traffic can explore more of whatís being offered.

Image: Visually appealing image-based ads use an eye-catching picture to draw the attention of your visitors. Even text-based ads might include an image to appear more interesting.

Often, online ads will use several different elements to appear more appealing to Internet traffic. Many advertisements combine video, audio, text and still images to create a compelling element visitors will want to click -- and thatís exactly what you want. The more people who click on your advertising, the more money youíre going to make.

Fill up blank spaces with ads, and learn how to include them in prominent areas of your main content pages. Every new person who accesses your site could create a little bit more income for you. Isnít the Internet great?
