Make Your Online Ads Prominent on the Page - Placing Ads on Your Pages

Making your ads distinct and compelling is all about where you’re putting them on the page. While it can always be useful to fill dead spaces with ads (this is a great way to utilize space that might otherwise remain empty), you do want to place some ads more prominently to increase the potential revenue for each page. There are lots of different ways to do this, because there are lot of different ad types available for Webmasters to use.

There’s a lot of spaces you can use for your ads…are you using them all? You may want to place ads at the top of content or even put an ad bar in the middle of your content, as well as placing ads around the edges of your page.

There are even some types of ads which create links inside the content on your page, appearing in the form of small pop-ups when users hover over these links. These in-line ads are a good way to integrate money-making advertising elements right into your content.

Because it’s often the content that’s bringing visitors to your page in the first place, it’s a good idea to put ads in and around this area. This is one way to keep your ads prominent. Always use good placement if you want to maximize your revenue potential on a page.
