There are three primary online ways to promote websites in the hope of making a profit from your online business. The first is search engine optimization ( SEO ). The second is by using pay per click ( PPC ) search engines. And the third is by constructing themed content websites then promoting those sites by writing and promoting articles that you distribute over the Internet.
For the average web entrepreneur SEO is just too difficult to master. Even the Gurus who think they have mastered SEO can run into difficulties when the search engines change their algorithms in an effort to better match up what people are searching for with the landing pages they are directed to by the search results.
The algorithms also frequently change if the search engines decide that too many folks are using what they consider to be deceptive practices in an effort to get better page ranking and placement on the results pages.
In my opinion, you are far better off to just keep building solid rich content websites and leave the website promotion by SEO stuff to those who enjoy the challenge of working with ever changing algorithms.
