Build Domain Authority by Choosing the Right Domain Name
(Page 1 of 5 )
The ultimate goal of any website business owner or blog author is to earn authority in their niche. This authority is a very important goal of any website or blog. In my experience, domain authority is one of the important ranking factors in Google, and it is often overlooked. Domain authority in your specific niche means you are the best source of information; thus, Google will trust you, which could translate into high traffic to your site.
Now, millions of website owners are so greedy to earn money online that they fail to formulate the most important website development objectives: "to become the best source of information in my selected niche."
Instead, they bid high on AdWords and pay for expensive SEO companies and still do not get feasible results, because they miss out on important things needed by their visitors. It is the information that they are looking for.
You might think that they are looking for your products or your services, but giving them insufficient information or content makes your site look useless to search engines or visitors. Thus, it will affect the site's authority and your domain will not be remembered well.
The easiest way to get people to remember your service is by your choice of domain name. Yes, your domain name should be completely focused on your service. By accomplishing this objective, you are halfway to becoming authoritative, but I will not agree that to have a successful website you just need a great and memorable domain name. You still have a lot of work to do.
