    LiveJournal: Blogs for All

Are you interested in sharing your thoughts with the world? There are plenty of places for you to do that online. One of the easiest ways to talk to the world is with a blog, and LiveJournal offers an interface with which even newbies can feel comfortable.

Blogs, also known as Web logs, are appearing all over the Internet. There are new blogs springing up online every single day. Many popular content sites feature blogs on certain celebrities, television shows or entertainment topics. Some blogs cover fishing, cooking, parenting advice or words on job hunting.

These days, there are blogs on the Internet for pretty much everything. But when blogs first started to happen on the Internet, they were treated as personal diaries. Many still blog on a personal level, talking not on specific topics but on their lives in general. Want to create a blog that feels more like an online diary? LiveJournal offers blogs for all.

This completely free blogging site allows anyone to create a personal journal, which can be treated as a traditional online diary. You can, of course, use your free blog in any way you wish so long as it follows the LJ rules (which prohibit highly offensive materials, among other restrictions). LiveJournal is similar to other blogging sites in that it provides free, easy-to-use blogs and text editors to help facilitate post-writing. This Web site also offers many different extras and options to appeal to those who wish to participate in online communities and communication and fully customize their blog pages.
