How to Add Pictures, Links and Video to Your Blog - Add Video to Blogs
(Page 4 of 4 )
Streaming video is a fun, highly popular extra. Many Web sites feature streaming video, even sites which aren’t dedicated to video-sharing and posting. Popular entertainment sites, for example, often feature videos of trailers and celebrity interviews. Adding video can really add a whole new element of depth and interest to your blog. But, is adding video something anyone can do?
Happily, most Web sites are glad to share their videos with other Web sites. This makes it easy for even casual bloggers to liven up their posts with this great, eye-catching element. All you need to do is find video clips online. Search popular video-sharing sites, such as YouTube, as well as general search strings to locate interesting clips. Video is popular and many sites offer it, which means good clips shouldn’t be too difficult to locate.
When you spy a video you want, simply play the footage once. When the clip finishes playing, a box should appear with an HTML code already available for your viewing and use. All you have to do is click the button which allows you to copy the code, and then you can easily place it within your own blog posts. Align the video in the same way you would for a picture, and you’re done. You’ve just added an exciting new feature to your blog pages.
Adding to Your Blog
Adding links, pictures and video to your blog really adds a lot of pop. These elements make pages look better, help draw more traffic and interest to your blog and give readers more to do and see. For all these reasons, it’s a good idea to add these little extras. It does take a little more time and effort, but in the end your blog will be much better for it.
