Blogging with Yahoo - Your Free Blog
Your free Yahoo blog is just that: a blog. This is not necessarily attached to your free Yahoo Web site, and in fact will have its own URL so you can keep the two quite separate. Want to join them together? You‘ll be able to link the two if you like.
Yahoo provides simple forms to assist you in every step of your blog’s creation. Explore your options to start making your blog a reality. You’ll decide upon a title and description for the blog (this is for META tag creation), and whether or not you want your posts to be accessible to the public. You’ll have three different options when it comes to who will see your blog posts: the blog is accessible to only you, accessible to only your friends or open to one and all. You’ll have the same choices for those who wish to place comments on your blog, so you can allow or disallow commenting at will.
The home page of your Yahoo blog will display the blog’s name, the image (if any) you have attached to the blog, and other pertinent information. You’ll have a calendar, so you can quickly access previous blog entries, and also a counter so you know exactly how many views your blog is receiving overall.

You can change the title, picture and other options of your blog at will. Yahoo’s user-friendly forms make it easy to make changes and decisions, so pick whatever suits you (and your blog) best. Once you decide on accessibility options, what your blog is going to be about, the name and the image you want to associate with your space, you’re ready to begin creating your blog.
Or did you think most of the work was already over? Isn’t creating the theme, the title and the level of access the end of the work? At that point, doesn’t the blog exist?
For any blog to truly be a blog, you’ll need one essential element: blog entries. Now that you’ve made some of the decisions, it’s time to get around to the real work of blogging with Yahoo. It’s time to simply start blogging.
