So You Want to Join an Affiliate Program!
    by Noreen Thomas

So you want to join an affiliate program. You should know what is the benefit. Money! Joining an affiliate program will provide you with an immediate and/or residual income. But, there are somethings you should know before joining an affiliate program.

    What is an Affiliate Program?
    -----------------------------

An affiliate program is an offer from someone (normally a member or a Webmaster) to a person to join their group/program to make money, selling products or other offers of services for a commission or other payment methods.

    Types of Affiliate Programs
    ---------------------------

There are literally hundreds or thousands of affiliate programs. Just about everywhere you look on the Internet you can find an affiliate program.

For a list of the various affiliate programs visit:

    http://www.affiliate-program-directory.com/

There are programs where you must sell products; and
programs you earn for referring others, such as Click-
Through-Pages. There are programs you must buy products, and hopefully sell the products.

You can find programs promising you will earn money passively. Passively means you do nothing, and you will start earning money magically. The program is so great; it will sell itself. (If, only, this were true.) There
are programs offering you the opportunity to earn
money, while investing very little or a lot of money
    upfront.

    Joining an Affiliate Program
    ----------------------------

How can you tell an honest affiliate program? First, an
honest affiliate program has a long history, and many
affiliates. Some things to consider when joining an
affiliate program. Is there a FREE training program? How good is the training program? Are there people to help you succeed? How often do you receive a commission check? What percentage are you paid for a sale?

You want to join a program, where you earn a large commission on a sale, at least 15% or more. Do you earn a single commission or ongoing commission, residual income? (Residual income is ongoing income. You earn residual income from new members you sign up or ongoing customers.)

Do you get one Webpage or more? Is the Webpage(s) easy to navigate? Is the Webpage(s) attractive? People will not stay at an ugly site long enough to buy. Do the Webpage(s) give complete information to entice your visitors to buy and become repeat customers? Are the products what people want? Most people do not always buy what they need; they buy what they want. If the products are not salable, I do not care how good you are; you will not sell any products.

Most affiliate programs, you join FREE for a limited time then when the time is up, you must decide to pay to stay a member. If you do not decide to pay, you must opt out. There are affiliate programs with no out-of-pocket expense, ever. Six-Figure Income (SFI) is a program with no-out-of-pocket expense. To learn more about a truly free affiliate program, click the link: http://www.quickinfo247.com/7798797/SIM

When choosing an affiliate program, you must decide which program is right for you. Ask yourself these questions. What do I want from the program? Am I serious about earning money? Does the training program give me information to succeed or leave me needing more information? Are there experience people to help me succeed? Is the opportunity to make money realistic or a pipe dream? How much does it cost to join the program?

People can and do earn a six-figure income on the Internet. There are only a few Internet Marketers earning a six-figure income, but it is a reality. If you join the right program, have the right product(s); know how to market the product(s); and where to market the product(s), you can make a deceit living on the Internet.

The key element to obtaining success; do not quit. Quitters never succeed. Success is, normally, not overnight. Sometimes, it takes months or years, before you become successful. Most, if not all, the six-figure income Internet Marketers achieved success after one year or more. But, they have the key element; they did not quit. They have determination and perseverance.

You can become successful in an affiliate program, if you have determination and perseverance.

Success is at your fingertips, just close your hand around it.
