How to Get Your Internet Income Started with Affiliate Marketing
by Lauren L. McDougal
My love for the Internet started out as a hobby in 1995. I spent hours on the Internet everyday.
My fascination with the World Wide Web grew to the point of wanting to make my living doing the one thing I loved the most.
My search for the perfect Internet business began. How hard could it be? All I needed was a product and a website. I could quit my job in a couple of months.
Well, that’s what all the Internet gurus said. I bought into the hype.
Spent thousand of dollars on everything that sounded good. Spent countless hours trying to make all those “sure-fire” programs work.
Nothing worked!
Why didn’t I stop before losing thousands of dollars and thousands of hours?
I had proof that others were making money on the Internet.
And I had faith that the Internet was my road to financial freedom.
So my search continued.
All I needed was someone to take me by the hand and show me how to do everything I needed to do.
It didn’t matter if he or she was going to get money from me. I expected that. That’s the basic part of doing business.
I just needed an honest, successful and caring business person to show me the ropes.
There are many who claim to be successful, honest and caring. Very few practice what they preach.
I must admit that I had a lot to do with my unsuccessful efforts at Internet marketing. I had bought into the hype of instant riches so much that anything that looked like work or would take more than 30 days to make me rich was not what I wanted.
I probably missed out on a lot of opportunities with that mindset.
Then I got an offer in my email that I just could not refuse. Here was an opportunity to learn how to market affiliate programs successfully. This program offered to take me by the hand and show me exactly what to do every day for 30 days. Yeah!
The owner of this program will set your business up completely and without cost, including providing some of the best affiliate programs on the market, setting up your personal website (with your own URL), and programming and writing follow-up letters for your autoresponder.
This wonderful program will give any newbie like me a complete course in Internet Marketing 101. Most of the marketing techniques done by the professionals is taught: email marketing, article writing and submitting your web site to the search engines. Not only does the business opportunity show you how to market, it tells you about some marketing techniques that might have worked a few months ago, but don’t work now.
Affiliate marketing is an excellent way to begin your Internet marketing career. Even the successful “gurus” work with affiliate programs. They create a win-win situation for you as well as the owner of the product or service.
You save the cost of developing a product or service. The owner provides you with a website, merchant account, ad copy and marketing tools to bring traffic to your affiliate website. You can make as much as 50% or more for every sale made.
In return, the merchant has you and hundreds of other affiliates busy selling his product while he makes money, too. He can also use his time to develop other products.
Affiliate marketing is an art form. There are many good ebooks on the market that can give you good information and techniques. Go to www.affiliates.com to learn more about affiliate programs.
You can start making money within a few days with affiliate marketing. The nature of these ready-made programs make them the ideal place to begin your Internet marketing career.
Go to www.sassyinternetdiva.com and check out the 30-day affiliate program
that teaches you everything you need to know to be a super affiliate.
